High Holy Days 5785/2024
As we observe these days of awe and repentance, we provide for our community with gifts of tzedakah.
Your support of Israel Congregation with your High Holy Day pledge is greatly appreciated.
The New Year is fast approaching and soon our community will once again come together to usher in 5785 with the Days of Awe. We’re delighted Israel Congregation is able to gather for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur in person and via live broadcast (see schedule below).
For the safety and security of our congregation, we respectfully require that you
MUST RSVP
for the services you wish to attend. Tickets will not be issued. Admission will be confirmed upon arrival based on RSVPs received. Guests of members and non-members are welcome to RSVP to join us in person after we accommodate our membership and as space allows (see purchase attendance button below).
Alternatively, any or all of our High Holy Day services can be watched via live stream from the comfort and safety of your own home. Associate Members, Guests and Non-Members may also attend via live stream (se purchase live stream button below).

Yom Kippur Food Drive
As we observe the days of Awe and Repentance, we consider those less fortunate than us in our greater community with acts of tzedakah. Traditionally the Israel Congregation community makes donations of food to the Community Food Cupboard to help our neighbors in need. This year the CFC is asking for monetary donations instead of food. Your donation enables the purchase of more essentials at deeply discounted costs and provides a greater benefit to our community.
This year the Community Food Cupboard is experiencing a shortage of food and a significant influx of new families. These families are our neighbors and friends. They need our help. Please consider a financial gift to the CFC during the High Holidays in order to help support those in our community facing hunger and food insecurity. Your donations are essential to the good work being done by the CFC. Send your check directly to:
Community Food Cupboard
PO Box 864
Manchester Center VT 05255

or you can access the Community Food Cupboard website by clicking here and make a donation via credit card.
P.S. If you are a frequent traveler, consider collecting the mini toiletries from your hotel stays. The CFC distributes these to those in need as well!
