Consider making a book donation at ICM for the Children’s Book Drive for Africa, a service project designed by Stacy Beck.
Support the ICM Hebrew School Judaic Studies class as they study the mitzvah of “Feeding the Hungry.” Their goal is to collect 60 boxes of store brand cornflakes (large/18 oz) or instant quick oats (small – 18 oz). Drop off donations in the ICM box, or send a donation to the office, with ”Cereal Drive” on the Memo line.
Thinking about holiday shopping? On November 14, 15 and 16 the Northshire Bookstore will host a bookfair to benefit Neighbor to Neighbor. Identify yourself as a friend of Neighbor to Neighbor and 20% of your purchase will be donated to this great organization. This is a wonderful way to shop locally while supporting your neighbors in need.
The Community Food Cupboard is getting new clients weekly. We have an opportunity to purchase turkeys at $10.00 each. Please consider donating $10.00 so that we can provide a turkey for the needy folks who come to us for food.
