THE WHOLE MEGILLAH – in Less than 2 Hours!
Come to Israel Congregation on Thursday, March 20 to celebrate Purim – a festive time for the young and the young-at-heart. Start with a light dinner. If you’re not already in costume, get dressed here… make a 3-cornered hat or a mask… or paint your face to become your favorite (or hated) character. Hear the story of Esther and Mordechai – a short retelling in both English and Hebrew. Sing songs. Parade around the sanctuary. “Boo” Haman. Cap off the evening with the sweet taste of homemade hamantashen.
