Dinner at the Wilburton Inn begins at 4:45 pm.  Make your reservations by calling Israel Congregation at 802-362-4578 or by ordering online.  Please do not call the Wilburton Inn.

* 2:30 pm – 9 - Hole Golf Tournament at Manchester Country Club; members and non-members welcome. Golf followed by cash bar and awards, then back to ICM for services and Shabbat dinner sponsored by Irene & Ed Glazer.  Please contact Ed or Irene at 297-3258 or nygnts@aol.com ASAP if you are interested in participating or have any questions.

Shabbat Services followed by our Community Pot-luck Dinner sponsored by Irene & Ed Glazer.  Please bring a dish to share or make a donation to the Shabbat Dinner fund.  Not sure what to bring?    Check the suggestions on the attached list or call Karen in our office at 802-362-4578.

September 17:  Kol Nidre dinner at the Wilburton Inn begins at 4:45 pm.  Make your reservations by calling Israel Congregation at 802-362-4578.  Please do not call the Wilburton Inn.
 
September 17:  Kol Nidre services begin at 6:45 pm.
 
September 18:  Yom Kippur services begin at 9:00 am.
 
Sept. 19:  Help raise our Sukkah Sukkot follows closely on the heels of Yom Kippur and we need your help in putting up the Sukkah on our beautiful patio.  Contact Stan Lisman  at slisman@mindspring.com or 802-362-4332 to volunteer.
 
Sept. 24:  Services followed by our Community Pot Luck Dinner sponsored by Merrily and Frank Lewis in honor of their son’s marriage.  Enjoy dinner in the Sukkah!
 
October 15:  Anniversary Dinner; ICM has been in its current location for 25 years.  Mark your calendar now and join the celebration.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

  
October is Israel Congregation’s turn to staff the Community Food Cupboard: Each month, the local area houses of worship take turns staffing our Community Food Cupboard and it is our turn in October. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday October 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 9:15 am–12 pm and from 1:45 pm–4 pm. Please contact Micki Lisman at msloane.esq@mindspring  to offer your help. 

 

Community Food Cupboard Wish List : Now that school has started, the CFC wish list is for healthy after-school snacks!  Granola bars, raisins, individual fruit or applesauce cups, peanut butter, cheese crackers or graham crackers.  All donations may be left in the collection boxes at Israel Congregation, Shaw’s Supermarket or the Town Hall.
