Attend the Courage to Remember Exhibit: On Tuesday, January 24, join Rabbi David Novak at the Mark Skinner Library for a special narrated tours at 5 pm and 6 pm through the internationally acclaimed exhibit of Holocaust education, “The Courage to Remember.”



THIS WEEK

Thursday, January 19
* 7:00 pm – Meeting of the Board of Directors
 
Friday, January 20
* 10:00 am – Tot Shabbat; parents, grandparents, and anyone with toddlers (Jewish or being raised in an interfaith environment) are invited to our second Tot Shabbat program.  Join Rabbi Novak for an hour of fun including stories, music, and a light snack.  This program is open to anyone; members or non-members. Help spread the word about this program!
 
* 6:30 pm – Shabbat Services followed by our Community Oneg; welcome Shabbat in the company of friends.
 
Saturday, January 21: Parashat Vaera
* 9:30 am – Saturday Morning Family Shabbat; join our b’nai mitzvah students and families in study and prayer.
 
Sunday, January 22
* 4:00 pm – Our annual Jewish Film Festival continues with Everything Is Illuminated.
 
Tuesday, January 24
* 10:30 am –Talmud Study Group.  Take part in this lively discussion group; no prior knowledge necessary.
 
Wednesday, January 25
* 4:00 pm – Religious School

Friday, February 3:  Family Shabbat with services led by Allan Eisemann.  Services followed by our Community Potluck Dinner.
 
Saturday, February 4:  Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Evening; if you’ve never joined us for this event before, come and see how magical it is to ski and snowshoe in the moonlight. .  . or come for the potluck dinner and laughter in the toasty warming hut.  6:00-9:00 pm
 
Sunday, February 5:  Annual Jewish Film Festival continues with another wonderful selection at 4:00 pm.

Wednesday, February 8:  Tu b’Sh’vat; all congregants and friends are invited to join our Religious School students and families in a Tu b’Sh’vat seder to mark the new year for trees.  Our students will lead the seder and we hope you will join them in celebration.

Friday, January 27:  Friday Night Shabbat Services
followed by a potluck dinner sponsored by Rosalie & Lee Fox in honor of their 28th anniversary. Come share in Rosalie and Lee’s joy.
 
Sunday, January 29:  Rosh Chodesh Women’s Group; come for yoga led by Lynne Andreen, followed by conversation.  Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat if you have one. Please bring a healthy snack to share. 3:00 pm
